Tom is a Director in the Private Client team. He is a highly experienced lawyer having specialised in this area of law for over 30 years.

Acting primarily for UK-based clients, ranging from landed estates to entrepreneurs, Tom advises high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of succession and personal estate planning matters, including will planning, asset protection, and mental capacity issues. He advises owners of family businesses on succession planning and structuring assets for a sustainable transfer to the next generation.

Tom has a significant probate practice, with a particular specialism in dealing with intestate estates. He has a wide network of intermediaries whom he can call on to trace unknown assets.

Regarded as approachable and knowledgeable, Tom is adept at providing his clients with both creative and practical solutions to their legal problems.
